This was a fantastic stay for my wife and I who came into Franz Josef to see the glaciers and do a bit of hiking. After a long road trip from Queenstown to the cottage, there were plenty of amenities to relax and enjoy one another’s company — whether it was the outdoor patio furniture in the garden with a great view of the mountains or the comfortable sofa with a great view of the TV! 😄

    The property comes fully equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning & heating, a freshly renovated full functional kitchen with modern appliances, a private outdoor space in a lush garden, and comfortable living areas. 

  • How far is the property from the glacier?

    Two Four Cron is just a 10-minute drive from the carpark and a few more minutes walk to the terminal face viewing area for the glacier, offering the best and near-only ground view. 

  • Is parking available at the property?

    Yes, we have two free private parking spaces available for guests, with one undercover right near your access door to the property.

  • What is the check-in and check-out time?

    Check-in is anytime from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you need flexible times, feel free to contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • Is the property family-friendly?

    Yes, Two Four Cron is family-friendly. Children older than 12 years can be accomodated in one of the bedrooms, while the adults sleep in the other. Please note we cannot accomodate children younger than 12 yrs however.
